What you'll do

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability strategy for the supply chain transportation (scope 3), aligned with the company's overall sustainability goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, operations, logistics, and external partners to identify opportunities for sustainable improvements throughout the supply chain process
  • Lead the design and execution of sustainable sourcing initiatives, focusing on ethical procurement practices, carbon footprint reduction, waste minimization, and responsible resource management
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to sustainable supply chain management, providing guidance and recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Act as a subject matter expert on sustainability topics within the supply chain, providing guidance and support to internal teams and external partners. Represent Knauf in conferences and working groups

Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, environmental science, business administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or related field, with a focus on sustainability initiatives
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing sustainability programs within complex supply chain environments
  • Strong understanding of sustainability principles, including carbon footprint reduction, circular economy concepts, and social responsibility standards
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results in a fast-paced environment
